Chihiro was born in Yamagata Prefecture and raised in Yamanashi, Japan. Chihiro got the Bachelor degree of architectural planning at Tohoku University and studied architectural design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London.
After Chihiro working in architectural design and construction management firms in London, she got married and gave birth in the United States. Upon returning to Japan, she spent 18 years as a single mother, working in the Real estate and Facilities management sector at foreign-owned companies across finance, real estate, and healthcare industries. As a department head of Real Estate, she had led nationwide office consolidation projects in Japan and a major headquarters relocation.
After Chihiro's child became independent, she left the corporate world and remarried to start new chapter of my life. Now, together with Yoko, they have launched `TSUDOI.Japan’ which is a cultural exchange initiative firm to connect Japan and Europe.
Yoko was born in a hot spring resort in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, into a family that ran a Japanese Ryokan Spa business.
Yoko has been involved in a wide range of industries and projects in the past, including financial IT, tourism, customer care, and education.
From an early age, Yoko enjoyed Japanese dance(日本舞踊) , Kimono and Kendo(剣道), and having had many opportunities to experience Japanese culture, she naturally came to want to share traditional Japanese culture with people outside of Japan.
Chihiro and I worked together at a financial company in Tokyo and have been friends ever since. We have now taken advantage of each other's areas of expertise to launch a new company.
Yoko's areas of expertise are educational events, workshop coordination, and training sessions, but she is currently focusing on community revitalization activities.
Yoko currently lives in Northern Ireland and is a mother raising four children with her Irish partner and all of her four children were born in different countries and regions: Tokyo, Singapore, Osaka, and Northern Ireland.
Together, we can promote cultural growth and understanding. Be a part of our journey to connect cultures and create lasting memories.
